Amazing Coffee

I love coffee, but I limit myself to only one cup per day. As such, I want that cup to be the best darn tasting coffee ever! I have a secret to making it taste delicious.
First, always assemble the coffee in the morning before you make it. Making coffee the night before to simply turn on in the morning does not an excellent cup produce. I’ll tell you why. It’s the bubbles, y’all. The morning-prepared coffee has water that is oxygenated and that makes great coffee!
Second, buy the whole beans and grind them yourself. The pre-ground coffee loses the oil from the beans which makes coffee aromatic and luscious. Grinding the beans yourself does not take long and the difference in taste is totally worth it.
Finally, this is the kicker! Sprinkle a little ground cinnamon on top of the coffee grounds before you turn the coffeemaker on. This trick brews up the most aromatic and delicious coffee, you won’t be disappointed!
That’s what works for me, see lots of other tips at Rocks in My Dryer!

Sounds good!
I’m too lazy to grind my own beans, but I will have to try that cinnamon thing!
The cinnamon thing is great, you can also add a pinch of nutmeg and cloves. It’s great for the holidays, reminiscent of pumpkin pie.
I learned the cinnamon trick back in college. It is a great pick-me-up!
You know we have a saying in our home - “Coffee is the lifeblood that the dreams of champions are made of.” It’s from a silly movie, but we are all about coffee - just LOVE it - and if you can’t make it right - don’t make it at all!
You are definitely making it right!
This is how we do it ~ and we love it, I think, like you do! We haven’t tried the cinnamon, though! Can’t wait to give it a try in the morning! (Good for you for having the discipline to limit it to one cup!)
Sounds good but I have to say my coffee is my favorite. My daughter sent me a Toddy coffee maker several years ago and it fits me perfect. My husband doesn’t drink coffee so I make just for me. It is cold brewed so no acid and no leftovers to throw out. One cup is what I have per morning and it is the best. My brother-in-law is now using one and my friend who visited this fall is a fan and has one. I simply love it but I will try a little cinnamon in it at least once.
